Habitat
Central
A centralised HRV unit for the entire home
The Fanco Habitat Central Heat recovery unit (HRV) is designed to introduce fresh, filtered air into the home, whilst also removing stale, moisture laden air, enhancing indoor air quality whilst simultaneously optimising energy efficiency.
As the warm, moisture laden air is extracted from areas like kitchens and bathrooms, it passes through the heat exchanger in the Habitat Central, which accumulates heat during this process. Simultaneously, fresh air from the outside is drawn into the system, passing through the same exchanger. This ensures the air coming into the home is warm before entering the living space. The air also passes through a filter, maintaining indoor air quality.
This advanced system is ideal for homeowners looking to reduce energy costs while improving ventilation, making it a perfect solution for modern, energy-conscious homes.

In this video one of the staff at our National Distributor, Universal Fans, walks through the components that connect to the Habitat Central – explaining how these accessories create this ventilation network. Whether you’re preparing for an install or ensuring you have everything in stock, this guide covers what you need to know for a smooth setup.
