The HV.Hotel, situated atop the multi-award-winning Ferrars & York building in South Melbourne, is an innovative project by HIP V. HYPE that allows guests to experience sustainable apartment living firsthand. Located just 100 meters from the bustling South Melbourne Market, HV.Hotel is the perfect place for sustainably-minded, design-conscious traveller. The HV. Hotel is a unique concept which enables the guests to experience sustainable living firsthand, including consistent internal temperatures, enhanced acoustic performance, fresher air, and the convenience of the walkable interconnectivity with the vibrant surroundings.

The Ferrars & York building itself is a testament to advanced sustainable architecture. Designed by the award winning Six Degrees Architects and built by Ironside, this development comprises of 22 carbon-neutral apartments powered entirely by renewable energy. Strong sustainability considerations were made for the project, prioritising low-impact, responsibly sourced materials throughout its construction – and creating communally focused architecture that connects its inhabitants to their surrounding community. This culminates in the projects signature open walkways and picturesque communal rooftop yard, fostering quality human interactions and a sense of belonging.  Ferrars & York building boasts an exceptional 8.6-star average energy rating that underscores the project’s commitment to climate resilience and sustainable living, and the HV.Hotel on top of the development continues this sustainability commitment with its own 8.1 out of 10 NatHERS rating.
